Sampark Smart Shala is a user-centric design thinking approach which focuses on innovation in classroom transactions and increases learning outcomes among children.
Instructive strategies are governed by the pupil's background knowledge and experience, situation, and environment, as well as learning goals set by the student and teacher. With this understanding, to give the Sampark pedagogy a distinctive advantage in terms of user-centricity, it is offered in the form of mock classrooms wherein teachers can see a lesson plan as it should be explained in class. This helps teachers who are first-time learners of the concept themselves, in a safe environment and without judgment on their prior knowledge (or lack thereof). In this, the Sampark pedagogy is distinctive in being as much student-focussed as it is teacher-focused.
The mobile application is a free learning platform that enables English and Math learning through animated videos, games, puzzles, worksheets and classroom fun activities. Sampark Smart Shala provides simple and engaging content in Hindi that makes learning more fun in school and at home in rural India.
The application uses the basic premises of understanding every concept through a concrete methodology using 3D Teaching and Learning Materials (TLMs) and then move to its abstract form.
